Samantha is a Community Health/Pre-Med Major concentrating on Health Administration at the University of Illinois. She plans to continue on to medical school to become a family physician. She is an active member of the Beta Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity and has served on the executive board of her sorority and continues to serve her chapter as part of the initiation team. Samantha is also active in her chapter's philanthropy, the American Heart Association. She is an employee at Urban Outfitters and loves working there. Samantha has been actively involved with the Miss You Can Do It pageant for five years now, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences she has been a part of. Samantha says, "Meeting contestants and getting to know them has changed my life. They are truly an inspiration to me to live my life passionately."

Lori Caruso has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. Many years in Cosmetology led her to crossing into medical esthetics and teaching. Lori has been active on boards supporting the Miss Iowa Pageant on a local level. She is an award winning member of Toastmasters International and has an extensive modeling portfolio. Lori has two beautiful dauthers who she enjoys and loves! Lori is honored to be a part of the Miss You Can Do It Pageant and is anxious to watch it grow on the national level!

One of the industry's most versatile talents, Shawn, or "She Diddy", is an award-winning reporter, speaker and spunky television host. She's hosted a cooking show with Food Network's Emeril Lagasse and a crafting show with HGTV's Carol Duvall. Shawn now travels the world reporting on fashion trends, styles and personal wellness. She is a member of the Gemological Institute of America and is certified with the American Council on Exercise. She has been a guest expert on QVC, a host on Shop at Home and traveled as a media expert for Jewelry Television. She was the 1997 Miss Iowa USA and her biggest joy is spending time with her daughter, Merrill.

Shirley was crowned Miss America 1975. She has earned a doctorate degree in education from Texas Woman's University and is a contributing author to various publications, as well as pursuing personal goals in other arenas of creative writing. She is a member of National Speakers Association and has served on several boards such as MADD, Texas Speedway Children's Charity, and her local school board. She has appeared on telecasts such as Good Morning, America, The Today Show, and other numerous talk shows. Shirley enjoys a lucrative speaking career to women's groups, corporate events, and educational forums. She and her husband, Richard, have been married since 1976 and live in Texas. They are parents to four grown children.
